Google and Twitter worked get a long Egyptian Internet Blocking

Google trying to outsmart the internet blockade that handcuff the people of Egypt. Online search engine giant has created a way so that the population of Egypt can post messages to Twitter.

In response to the blocking of Internet in Egypt, Google also provides a new way that allows citizens to send tweets without having to access the Internet.

Straits Times reported on Tuesday (01/02/2011), Google mengandalakan telephone lines to enable its citizens to post updates to the Twitter service. To enable this, Google works with Twitter and SayNow.

If Google and Twitter has been quite famous in cyberspace, not so with SayNow. SayNow is a pioneer company engaged in voice-based social networking. With SayNow, Egyptians can post a tweet just by leaving a voice message at the telephone number provided.

"All the attention being drawn to Egypt now. Good to know the latest conditions and for the latest news. Surely they also think to look for ways to help Egyptian citizens to face this difficult situation," said Google product manager Abdel-Karim Mardini, in a posting on its official blog. 

"For nearly a week we have been thinking of ways for citizens of Egypt could return to access the Internet, at least provide information updates from Egypt. We speak also presents the service-to-tweet, which allows everyone to post a tweet using only voice services," co-founder tambar SayNow, Ujjwal Singh.
